●Proactively networks and builds a talent pipeline across the region for key and core roles.
●Works closely with Hiring Managers to review and understand the functions and qualifications for specific job requisitions.
●Partners with the business to identify and assess talent in order to fill “difficult to find” positions, generate ideas, leverage resources, and share information to ensure an effective search process.
●Determines optimum strategies for achieving best-in-class time-to-fill and cost metrics and for continuously improving Hiring Manager and candidate experience.
●Collaborates closely with HR Business Partners, Pivotal Talent Acquisition team members across the globe, and partner recruiters (EMC and VMware) in APJ to provide the most effective recruiting outcomes possible.
●Utilizes creative means and best practices to research, source, attract, and contact possible candidates to develop a diverse pool of qualified, A-player candidates.
●Proactively conducts research and investigates new ideas to find 'passive' candidates.
●Sources active candidates from social media outlets, events/networking, referrals, contact lists, internal databases, etc.
●Screens candidates for availability, interest level, salary range, relocation needs, qualifications, and cultural fit.
●Understands and refreshes knowledge on Pivotal’s business, compensation philosophy, and the overall industry to effectively represent our brand and culture and operate professionally with all external parties.
●Presents Pivotal’s value proposition to passive candidates in a clear and concise manner in order to develop and maintain interest that lasts throughout the hiring cycle.
●Utilizes appropriate systems to manage job requisitions and to track sourcing and pipeline information with the goal of quickly bringing open requisitions to closure.
Requirements
●2+ years of experience in recruiting sales, technical, and managerial roles. Agency background preferred.
●Software industry experience is mandatory
●Must be curious (ideally passionate) about our technology and mission
●Able to think and act independently to determine best methods for getting the job done, yet be highly team-oriented and collaborative in style
●Heavily biased towards action and delivering results in a timely and efficient manner
●Organized and able to track and demonstrate progress
